Emily L. Heimermann
Director, Marketing and Client Services
Ms. Heimermann’s responsibilities include marketing, client services and business development. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2008, Ms. Heimermann was the Director of Marketing at Harvest Partners, a middle-market private equity firm. Ms. Heimermann previously worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a securities analyst co-covering the cable and media industries. Ms. Heimermann received her B.S in Finance from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

Samantha Hewitt
Marketing Associate
Ms. Hewitt assists in all marketing, client services and business development activities. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2008, Ms. Hewitt was a product management associate at Invesco Private Capital. Ms. Hewitt previously worked at Bloomberg in various capacities. Ms. Hewitt received her B.A. in Economics with an Accounting concentration from Rutgers University.

Katerina N. Kladias
Marketing Analyst
Ms. Kladias supports all marketing, client services and business development activities. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2007, Ms. Kladias received her B.B.A. in Marketing from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.

Mary T. Hornby
General Counsel
Ms. Hornby, with over 11 years of experience in private equity matters, assists the investment team in the review, legal analysis and negotiation of partnership investments and directs all legal aspects relating to the formation and maintenance of Abbott’s pooled investment funds. In addition, Ms. Hornby assists in the legal aspects of daily operations, including client relationships and contracts, regulatory compliance and internal corporate structuring matters. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2005, Ms. Hornby was counsel and a member of the Private Equity Group at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, representing investment advisers, funds of funds, public pension plans and other limited partner investors, as well as general partner groups, in all aspects of private equity fund formation. Ms. Hornby received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston College and her J.D. from Boston College Law School. She is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Jean Chiffriller
Director, Information Systems
Ms. Chiffriller is responsible for managing Abbott’s information systems and client-reporting functions, with a focus on performance measurement. Ms. Chiffriller has 24 years of private equity investment administrative experience. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 1986, Ms. Chiffriller worked for three years in the Venture Capital Group of Manufacturers Hanover Investment Corporation. Ms. Chiffriller attended St. John’s University and Queens College.

Andrea C. Heidbreder
Project Manager
Ms. Heidbreder reviews and develops investment management databases for use in client reporting and investment analysis. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2000, Ms. Heidbreder was a research analyst at the University of Michigan’s Investment Office working on alternative asset performance. Ms. Heidbreder also worked as an investment performance analyst at Cambridge Associates and as a research analyst at Venture Economics. Ms. Heidbreder received her B.A. in Economics and Art History from the College of the Holy Cross.

Joseph C. Juliano
Manager, Operations
Mr. Juliano is responsible for oversight of the various operational and administrative activities pertaining to Abbott Capital’s separate account clients, including data verification and client account and partnership relationship management. Prior to joining Abbott in 2001, he worked as a broker at Investec Ernst & Company, where he managed investment accounts for clients. Mr. Juliano received his B.S. in Finance from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.

Jennifer T. Lagnado, CPA
Controller
Ms. Lagnado is responsible for Abbott’s corporate accounting and human resources. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2000,
she worked as an Audit Manager at KPMG, LLP. Previously, Ms. Lagnado worked as a staff accountant at McGladrey & Pullen.
Ms. Lagnado received her B.S. in Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo, her M.B.A. with a concentration
in Accounting from Hofstra University and her C.P.A. from the State of New York.

Paolo Parziale, CPA
Director, Fund Administration
Mr. Parziale oversees the financial accounting and administration of all fund of funds products, including the preparation of all fund financial reports and tax filings. Prior to joining Abbott Capital in 2002, Mr. Parziale was an Audit Senior in the Audit Department of Ernst & Young, where he worked on audits of investment management firms and various types of commingled funds. Mr. Parziale received his B.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University and his C.P.A. from the State of New York. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at New York University.
